1-) Who can apply for International Student Admission?

a) Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated;
 

1) Foreign nationals, (excluding those who have enrolled in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey before the 2022-2023 academic year [excluding embassy schools, foreign nationals brought to our country within the scope of projects carried out by the Ministry of National Education and international private educational institutions listed in the MOBIS system])

2) Those who are born Turkish citizens and have renounced Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior Affairs to renounce Turkish citizenship, and those who prove that they have obtained a blue card (provided that they have enrolled in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey before the 2022-2023 academic year) (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states, "(1) A child born to a Turkish citizen mother or father within or outside Turkey through marriage is a Turkish citizen." Therefore, candidates applying for foreign student admission quotas are advised to examine the Turkish Citizenship Law.)

3) Those who have acquired Turkish citizenship through naturalization after being foreign nationals / dual citizens in this situation (provided that they have enrolled in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey before the 2022-2023 academic year)

4) Those who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country except for the TRNC (including those who have completed their entire secondary education [high school] in Turkish schools opened abroad under the Ministry of National Education)

5) Those who are citizens of the TRNC; those who reside in the TRNC and have completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC and those who have or will have GCEAL exam results by registering and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010.

 

2-) Since I have not graduated from high school yet, I have not received my high school diploma. What should candidates in this situation do?

Candidates who have not yet graduated from high school must present an official letter (temporary graduation certificate) stating that they will be able to graduate from their high schools at the end of this semester.

3-) What are the application criteria/conditions at Çomü?

Every year, the application criteria, application, placement, and registration dates are announced on the website https://student.comu.edu.tr/.

4-) How are the application procedures carried out?

Application procedures are conducted online.

5-) Does your university have agreements with individuals or educational institutions?

Our university does not have any agreements with any institution or company. Do not trust individuals and organizations claiming to be associated with our university; carry out all procedures yourself.

6-) If the quotas are not filled, will there be a minimum decrease in the required scores for application?

Under no circumstances will students be admitted with scores below these minimum scores. Applications with lower exam scores and grades than the announced criteria are not accepted.

8-) Do I need to pay any fees for applying to undergraduate/associate degree programs?

No fees are required for applications to undergraduate/associate degree programs.

9-) Can I send my documents by fax or email?

Documents sent by fax or email are not accepted. You only need to upload your application documents to the online application system. The candidate who has the right to register must bring the original documents for registration on the relevant dates specified in the acceptance letter.

10-) Can I study in two undergraduate programs at the same time?

You cannot study in two undergraduate programs at the same time. However, you can enroll in one undergraduate and one associate degree program simultaneously if you wish.

11-) I am studying at another university; what should I do to study at your university?

Firstly, you need to apply to our university. If you are admitted, you can unregister from your current university and enroll here.

12-) Where are the results announced?

Placement information is sent to the candidates' emails. Candidates who are not placed do not receive an email.

13-) Whom can I contact if I encounter any problems with the application or registration procedures?

14-) Does the university offer scholarships to students admitted through the overseas quota?

Our university does not offer any special scholarship opportunities.

15-) How can I solve the accommodation problem?

Finding accommodation is entirely the responsibility of the students.
