Residence Permit

According to the protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education and the Directorate General of Migration Management, international students who want to obtain a residence permit for the first time are required to submit the following documents to the International Student Office within thirty (30) business days from the date of registration.

It is your responsibility to know and comply with the rules regarding the residence permit. Therefore, to avoid serious legal problems or fines in the future, please make sure to follow the rules carefully. In case you encounter any issues, please contact the Directorate General of Migration Management.

Under Law No. 6458, it is mandatory for foreigners studying in higher education programs in our country to obtain a student residence permit.
