APPLICATION AND PREFERENCE PROCEDURES

  • There is no fee for the application.
  •  Applications are made online through the UBYS-University Information System, through the link announced on the ÇOMÜ-International Student Office page, between the dates of 20 August 2024 (16:30 TSI) and 24 August 2024 (17:00 TSI), as specified in the Application Calendar.
  • Students will fill in the information requested and upload the documents to the system. The preferences will be considered valid after the documents uploaded to the online application system are checked. Incomplete or incorrect information and documents will invalidate the application.
  • The application is based on the ID and passport number. The candidate must enter the ID information in their passport without any changes or abbreviations.
  • The candidate's passport-sized photograph, transferred to electronic media, must be added to the relevant area on the form. This photograph will be included in the registration and on the student ID document, and should have been taken within the last six months to ensure that the candidate can be easily recognized.
  • A document showing the High School Graduation Grade must be uploaded.
  • Each candidate has the right to make a maximum of 5 (five) different preferences. If candidates apply more than once, their preferences will be cancelled. If they register, their registration will be deleted.
  • Male candidates do not have the right to choose the Midwifery Department.
  • Students who will enroll in the Underwater Technology Program must also meet the legal conditions set forth in the Qualification Training Standards and Health Rules sections of the Professional Diver Regulations published by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
  • Students enrolled in the Biga Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, International Relations Program will take their Compulsory Foreign Language Preparatory education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Merkez Terzioğlu Campus, School of Foreign Languages.
  • Each candidate's grade point average is converted out of 100 according to the conversion table in our University's system (Applicants can have their diploma grades converted to the 100-point system at the schools they graduated from or they can upload the conversion table indicating their 100-point grade to the system).
  • Applications and placement procedures of candidates who are found to have made any missing or false statements in their application documents will be deemed invalid in accordance with the "Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Associate and Undergraduate Degree International Student Application and Registration Admission Directive".
  • Candidates can follow all announcements during the application and registration process at http://studentFollow from comu.edu.tr. 
  • Candidates must document all the information they declared during registration and submit the originals of the documents.
