 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT CALENDAR 

      Since 10% of the quota for the Teaching, Law, Pharmacy, Medicine and Dentistry programs should not be exceeded, for applicants who were Turkish citizens by birth but lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining a permission to renounce Turkish citizenship from the Ministry of Interior; for applicants who document that they have a blue card given to those who have lost their Turkish citizenship upon request; for applicants who have completed their high school education abroad (except TRNC); for applicants with dual nationality, one of which is Turkish citizenship; and for applicants with Turkish nationality, our quota for the Dentistry program has been filled. Announced to those concerned.

Please pay attention to the following steps during the Online Application.

- Application will be done from   https://ubys.comu.edu.tr/AIS/ApplicationForms/Home/Index?apptype=3  

-Applications will start on September 12, 2023 at 08.00 and will continue until September 14 at 17.00.

-There must be an expression indicating the High School Diploma grade on High School/Secondary school graduation diplomas or transcripts.

-Upload the picture of your passport to the passport field.

-The applicant has the right to a maximum of 5 preferences.

-Applications of applicants who make incomplete or incorrect statements will be considered invalid.

 -All applications for undergraduate and associate degree programs from Turkey and abroad will be made online only. Applications made by mail or by hand will not be accepted.

 -The evaluation result announcement will be learned through the application system. Acceptance letters will be sent to your e-mail.

 -Applicants must enter their nationality information correctly. Dual nationality applicants are asked to provide a copy of the Civil Registration Certificate with the first nationality indicated.

 -The requested e-mail and phone number must belong to the applicant, and each applicant must use only one e-mail. No correspondence or transactions should be made on behalf of other applicants with this e-mail and phone number.

- ATTENTION! The face-to-face registration dates are the delivery dates of the original documents. Before this date, applicants who will take the TÖMER-Foreign Language exemption exam or applicants of students who are exempt from these exams must follow the academic calendar of the unit in which they are registered.

-Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University is free to fill the quotas or not.

-Just as our university does not have an agreement with any individual, educational consulting company or brokerage house, no quota has been allocated to any institution or person.

All announcements are in the nature of a notification to the applicants.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (The Principles of the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education regarding the Admission of Students from Abroad)

Applicants Whose Application Will Be Accepted;

a) In the condition that they are in the last year of high school or have graduated from high school;

1) Foreign citizens (provided that those who study at secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year [except embassy schools and International private educational institutions included in the MOBIS system])

2) Those who are Turkish citizens by birth but have lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce their Turkish citizenship, and those who document that they have a blue card issued to those who have lost their Turkish citizenship upon request (provided that those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year) (In Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901. “(1) A child born in Turkey or abroad from a Turkish citizen mother or father in a marriage union is a Turkish citizen.” there is a provision, and it is useful for applicants who will apply for admission quotas from abroad to study the Turkish Citizenship Law.)

3) Those who became Turkish citizens with later acquired citizenship while being a foreign citizen / dual national in this situation (provided that those studying at secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey registered before the 2022-2023 academic year)

 *4) a) Among Turkish students who attended secondary education abroad before 01/02/2013, those who completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) (including those who completed all of their secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC) can apply for student admission quotas from abroad.”

b) Applicants who started secondary education abroad after 01/02/2013 can apply for admission quotas from abroad for those who have completed all their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the TRNC (including those who have completed all of their secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC),

5) TRNC (Turkish Republic of North Cyprus) citizens and those who reside in the TRNC and have GCEAL exam results who have completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC, as well as those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and studying at colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010, are not accepted.

Who Cannot Apply?

 b) Among the applicants

1) Those who are Turkish citizens and have completed all of their secondary education (high school) in Turkey or the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus),

 2) TRNC nationals (excluding those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and studying in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010),

*3) Dual nationals whose first nationality is Turkish by birth as defined in clause 2 of article a, (except for those who meet the conditions in clause 4 of article a)

4) Those who have dual citizenship, one of which is TRNC nationality (except those who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and studying in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010),

5) Those who are Turkish citizens who have attended schools under the embassies in Turkey and foreign high schools in Turkey, or dual nationals whose first nationality by birth is Turkish as defined in subparagraph 2 of article a,

6) Those who are registered in the TRNC registrants and those who renounced their Turkish citizenship/Blue Card holders and foreign nationals who will enroll in secondary education in Turkey as of the 2022-2023 academic year (excluding embassy schools and international private education institutions with MOBIS services) applications are accepted.
