1-)I haven’t got my high school diploma since I’ve not graduated yet. What should the ones do in this case?

Those who are still nongraduate have to submit official writing(temporary certificate) that shows that the applicant will graduate at the and of this term.

2-) what are the terms of applications?

Every year, we publish the terms of applications on our website.

3-) what are the terms of applications for matriculation of international students?

On condition that they are senior at high school or grad;

1) those who are foreign national

2) Those who were born in Turkey but then got permission from Ministry of Interior to cease to be a citizen of Turkey and those who certify having the certificate concerning Utilization of Given Rights in accordance with Turkish Citizenship Law for their minor offsprings who are registered on their renouncement of nationality certificate,( On the 7th article of the law no. 5091 Turkish Citizenship Law, there is ‘ An offspring who was born in a marriage of a Turkish mother or a father is a Turkish citizen.’ ad judgment and it is found necessary to check over Turkish Citizenship Law of the applicants who will apply to admission quota from abroad.)

3) Those who are foreign national but became a Turkish citizen afterward / dual citizens,

4) Those ( Turkish citizens) who complete their last 3 years of secondary education(high school) in a foreign country except for TRNC -Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and continued their secondary education abroad before 01/02/2014 (not excepting the ones who complete their entire secondary education(high school) at Turkish colleges founded by Turkish Ministry of National Education in a foreign country excepting TRNC -Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus)

5) Those (Turkish citizens) who started the entire secondary education(high school) in a foreign country excepting TRNC -Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and continued their secondary education abroad after 01/02/2014 and completed there (not excepting the ones who complete their entire secondary education(high school) at Turkish colleges founded by Turkish Ministry of National Education in a foreign country except for TRNC -Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus)

6) Those who are Turkish citizens and completed their entire secondary education abroad excepting TRNC (not excepting for those who completed their entire secondary education in a foreign country excepting TRNC)

7) Those who are TRNC citizens; dwell there and completed their secondary education(high school) in TRNC and have a GCE AL exam result and those who studied at college high schools in other countries and got  GCE Al exam results between the dates of 2005-2010 will be accepted.

4-) When will I learn the date of the application?

We publish the date of application and student admission quota on the relevant page of our website before the date of application every year.

5-)what are the application procedures?

First of all, you must fill in an application form on the site http://iso.comu.edu.tr/. After the application, you must confirm your application status.

6-) Do you have any agreement with a person or an educational establishment?

Our university has no agreement with any person or educational establishment. Please do not trust the people or institutions who introduce themselves associated with our university and make your procedures on your own.

7-) How can I change my department?

You must reapply for the international student quotas. In the event of having a right to enroll, you can do disenrollment from the department you are enrolled in and then enroll in the department you choose.

8-) If the quotas are not full, will there be a decrease at the minimum grades required for the application?

Under no circumstances, any student will be accepted under these grades.

9-) My exam result or diploma grade is lower than the announced criteria. Can I apply?

No application is accepted with grades and points lower than the announced criteria.

10-) At ÇOMÜ, is there the Foreign Student Exam (YÖS)? Do you accept Foreign Student Exam results from other universities? 

Foreign Student Exam (YÖS) is not done for student admission from abroad to the undergraduate programmes by ÇOMÜ. Other universities’ Foreign Student Exam results are not accepted.

11-) Will I pay any fee for applying to Undergraduate/associate degrees?

All the applications are free of charge.

12-) Is it possible to send the documents via e-mail or fax?

The documents are accepted only if you upload the documents to the application web site. (iso.comu.edu.tr)

13-) My diploma includes my high school graduation average. Do I still have to send the transcript?

You have to upload your transcripts showing the averages of all grades of secondary education(high school).

14-) I study at a different university, what do I have to do to study at your university?

Firstly, you have to apply to our university. If you have a right to enrollment, you can enroll after the disenrollment from your university.

15-) where can I be informed about the announcements?

The applicants can be informed about the application results from the website “http://iso.comu.edu.tr/” by entering the application system with their username and passwords.

16-) How can I receive the letter of acceptance?

The applicants who have a right to enroll can receive their certificate of acceptance as e-signed from the site http://iso.comu.edu.tr/. Thus, you can receive the ‘ Education annotated visa’ from the Turkish Consulship in your country.

17-) Who can help me if I have trouble with applications or enrollment procedures?

You can send all your questions about the applications to the site studentcomu.edu.tr.

18-)Does the university offer a chance of a scholarship to the students who get into international students' quota?

There is not any chance of a scholarship at our university.

19-) How can I solve the accommodation issues?

This responsibility completely belongs to the students.
