 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION CALENDAR 

Please pay attention to the following steps during the Online Application.

- The application link   will be at

-Candidates have a maximum of 5 preferences.

-Applications of candidates who make incomplete or false statements will be considered invalid.

 -All applications for undergraduate/associate degree programs from Turkey and abroad will be made online only. Applications made by mail or in person will not be accepted.

 -Evaluation results will be announced through the application system.

 -Candidates must enter their nationality information correctly. Candidates with dual nationality are required to submit a Certificate of Population Registration Copy indicating their first nationality.

 -The requested e-mail address and phone number must belong to the candidate and each candidate must use only one e-mail address. No correspondence or transactions should be made on behalf of other candidates using this e-mail address and phone number.

- ATTENTION!  Face-to-face registration dates are the delivery dates of the original documents. Before this date, candidates who will take the TÖMER-Foreign Language Exemption Exam or student candidates who are exempt from these exams must follow the academic calendar of the unit they are registered to.  https://ogrenciisleri.comu.edu.tr/akademik-takvim-r10.html 

-Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University is free to fill the quotas or not.

-Our university does not have an agreement with any person, educational consultancy company or intermediary institution, and no quota has been allocated to any institution or person.

All announcements are notifications to candidates.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates whose applications will be accepted;

             a) Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated;

1) Foreign nationals (those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey, provided that they have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year [excluding embassy schools, international private educational institutions included in the MOBIS system and foreign nationals brought to our country within the framework of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education])

2) ) Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior to relinquish their Turkish citizenship, and those who can prove that they have a blue card, which is given to those who lost their Turkish citizenship upon request (for those studying in secondary schools in Turkey, provided that they registered before the 2022-2023 academic year) (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states that "(1) A child born to a Turkish citizen mother or father in marriage, whether inside or outside Turkey, is a Turkish citizen." It is useful for candidates who will apply for the admission quotas from abroad to review the Turkish Citizenship Law.)

3) Those who were foreign nationals and later acquired Turkish citizenship / dual nationals in this situation (those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey, provided that they registered before the 2022-2023 academic year)

4 ) Those who are Turkish citizens and completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country except TRNC (including those who completed their entire secondary education [high school] in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country except TRNC)

5) Applications will be accepted from TRNC citizens who reside in the TRNC and have completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC and have GCEAL exam results, as well as those who have or will have GCE AL exam results after enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010.

2. Candidates whose applications will not be accepted:

             b) From the candidates;

1) Those who are Turkish citizens and completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkey or TRNC,

2) Those who are TRNC citizens (except those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results and those who registered and received education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results),

3) Dual nationals whose first nationality is Turkish by birth, as defined in subparagraph 2 of article (a), (except those who meet the conditions in subparagraph 4 of article a),

4) Dual citizens, one of whose nationality is TRNC (except those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results and those who registered and received education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results),

5) Those who are Turkish citizens or have dual citizenship whose first nationality is Turkish by birth as defined in Article a, subparagraph 2, and who study at schools affiliated with embassies in Turkey or at foreign high schools in Turkey, 

6) TRNC citizens, those who have renounced their Turkish citizenship/Blue Card holders and foreign nationals who will enroll in secondary education institutions in Turkey starting from the 2022-2023 academic year (excluding embassy schools and international private educational institutions included in the MOBIS system and foreign nationals brought to our country within the framework of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education)

7) Those who were found to have committed irregularities in the exams conducted by ÖSYM or other universities in previous years,

8) Applications of persons who have acted against the Republic of Turkey with their ideas and actions or who have been stripped of their Republic of Turkey citizenship as a sanction will not be accepted.

 Candidates who apply for student admission quotas from abroad, if they have dual citizenship, one of which is Turkish citizenship, and those who are Turkish citizens completed their entire high school education in high schools abroad (excluding TRNC high schools) ,

- Applications from candidates who have received a diploma from a high school abroad through distance education without being abroad will not be accepted within the scope of the quotas for accepting students from abroad .

- In the context of diplomas received from a high school abroad through formal education, if the period of stay in the relevant country does not support that the high school education  was received through formal education, applications for students from abroad within the framework of student acceptance quotas will not be  processed with these diplomas  . If the period of stay in the relevant country does not support that the high school education was received through formal education, even if the registrations have been made, the established process will be canceled and the records of the relevant persons will be deleted.
